Kerri is a former recipient of the Scartwater Trust for academic excellence whilst at High School, and attended James Cook University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws.
Kerri was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in June 1999 and to the High Court of Australia in September 1999.
Kerri practices mainly in the area of family law including child related matters, property settlement, de facto property matters and matters involving the Department of Child Safety.
Kerri also has experience in criminal, property and estate law.
Kerri is a current member of the Research & Ethics Committee at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, and a former member of Soroptimist International.
